Every accessory we create at Elizabeth Scarlett holds a story, and our Elephant collection symbolises one closest to our hearts. For the past six years, we’ve proudly partnered with the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, an incredible organisation dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating orphaned elephants, protecting habitats, and caring for wildlife across Kenya.
From Elizabeth’s very first sketches of Elephants to creating collections that help protect these precious creatures, through our designs and our beautiful community we're so proud to have driven real change for this species. A story of art, hope and purpose - stitched into something bigger.
Why Elephants?
Elephants hold a special place in our hearts and Elizabeth’s designs. These gentle giants are symbols of wisdom, resilience and love - qualities that inspire our creativity and our mission. Every time we embroider an elephant motif, we’re reminded of the real lives we’re helping to protect.
Our Shared Impact
Since beginning our partnership, we’ve raised over £300,000 for the Trust. Beyond supporting the orphaned elephants in the Trust’s care, our donations directly support life-saving initiatives for endangered wildlife. Here’s how we’ve made a real difference through your orders:
Funding the KWS Mara Veterinary Unit
Since 2021 we’ve fully funded the SWT/KWS Mara Mobile Vet Unit. Operating in the Masai Mara, a critical conservation area, this dedicated team provides vital care for injured wildlife. With many injuries tragically resulting from poaching and human-wildlife conflict, the unit has played an incredible role in protecting the precious species of this area - making a difference to countless wild lives.
326 orphaned elephants adopted (& counting!)
As of World Elephant Day 2025, we’ve adopted every orphan under the Trust's care and ongoing protection - 322 and counting! From providing nourishing milk bottles to funding keepers salaries, veterinary treatment and round-the-clock protection. By adopting these orphans, we’re not only supporting the elephants' recovery but also helping to protect the wild habitats they will one day return to.

Looking Ahead
…And we’re not stopping there! As we celebrate our 10th year, we’re deeply committed to painting a beautiful future for wildlife on our planet: one where it is protected, cherished and allowed to thrive. Beyond our continued support for the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and our wonderful charity partners, our goal is to raise £2 million for wildlife conservation by 2030.
