The making of Rebirth

The making of Rebirth

Unearth a new collection of Rebirth treasures, created from rescued deadstock material…

Four years ago, when faced with the fact that the fashion industry produces 97 million tonnes of textile waste each year, we knew we had to challenge ourselves to find an innovative way of creating our signature accessories whilst honouring our natural world. Our Rebirth Collections do just that.

Introducing Rebirth: The Fourth Chapter, which breathes new life into deadstock fabrics to create uplifting, embroidered treasures that not only look beautiful and give back to wildlife conservation, but also play a small part in limiting the environmental impact of the fashion industry.

Made in Rajasthan, India - a place best known for its traditional printing techniques and textile design - we’ve worked alongside the same factory for every collection, salvaging hand-block printed materials that are surplus at the end of the season. Since our very first Rebirth Collection in 2021, we’ve proudly repurposed over 3,000 metres of deadstock fabric, saving over 1,650 pounds of material that would have eventually made its way to landfill. We’ve turned potential waste into something beautiful.

We've embroidered these pretty floral cottons with Elizabeth’s signature suns, shells, hearts and elephants - each design representing rebirth and celebrating the new life cycle of these fabrics.

As ever, this special collection takes its inspiration from nature - its inherent ability to regenerate and renew is woven into every piece. It’s been an incredible journey seeing these accessories come to life - we hope they bring joy wherever you wander this summer and beyond.
