With less than 9,000 breeding pairs left in the wild, the beautiful African Penguin heartbreakingly faces extinction within the next 10 years.
With Elizabeth’s new Penguin design, inspired by this beautiful species, this Christmas we’re aiming to raise funds for their protection and bring our total impact to £36,000 donated in 2025. Advocating for African Penguins
Faced by increasing threats from climate change and commercial overfishing, the African Penguin population has dwindled to just 1% of its original numbers – as a vital creature in the ocean's story, we knew we had to take action.
Back in March, we called on our community for your help to protect this beautiful species: and you answered with a tidal wave of support.
Together, we helped to secure a breakthrough deal to implement closures to commercial fishing around six of the last major breeding colonies of this Critically Endangered species.

With love, hope and purpose in every thread, each and every Penguin accessory sold will fund our commitment to donate £10,000 to the Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds (SANCCOB).
How this design helps
Every piece from our new Penguin collection will help fund SANCCOB’s dedicated ranger team. Through your orders, we will support:
• Emergency rescue and rehabilitation for sick or injured penguins.
• Protection for vulnerable chicks from the impacts of climate change, habitat loss, and pollution.
• On-the-ground monitoring and safeguarding at key seabird colonies.
• Crucial long-term conservation and education initiatives.
