FAQs

How does 2% For The Wild work?

Every year, we donate 2% of our annual sales to wildlife conservations. That means whether we make a profit or not, we’re always giving back to the animals and natural world that inspire our designs. Our 2% is calculated after returns, discounts and taxes - and never on profit. While it’s our baseline, it’s not our ceiling - we always aim to give more where we can.

Why only 2%?

It might sound small, but it’s a big commitment. By donating 2% of annual sales rather than profit, every order helps protect wildlife, regardless of how profitable our business is. As we grow, so does our impact. Together we’ve proudly raised £1 million for wildlife conservation, with our sights set on £2 million by 2030.

Why do we protect wildlife?

In a world where wildlife is often forgotten and unprotected, we’re devoted to securing its protection, preservation, and to ensuring it can thrive for future generations. As long as Elizabeth Scarlett exists, we will give back to the wildlife that inspires us.

Where did it begin?

Dreamt up at a kitchen table in 2015, Elizabeth was born from a simple idea; to bring artistry to everyday pieces, while supporting the protection of the natural world. Giving back has been part of our story from the very beginning. Today, we’re proud to have built a community that shares our love for the wild, and our commitment to protecting the beautiful Earth we share.

How do you choose conservation partners?

We carefully choose our conservation organisations and projects we support based on three things: authenticity, impact and action. We look for people with a genuine passion for protecting wildlife, a commitment to making a lasting difference and a hands-on approach to conservation. From long-term partnerships to individual projects, our focus is always on protecting wildlife and the habitats they depend on.

How is the £1 million being donated?

Our £1 million milestone includes £785,000 already donated to wildlife conservation, with a further £215,000 committed to our conservation partners by the end of 2026. Every contribution helps support vital work to protect wildlife and restore wild habitats.

Thank you for being part of our story.

Every order helps us protect the wildlife and wild places that inspire us. Whether you've been with us from the beginning or are just discovering Elizabeth Scarlett, thank you for sharing our love for the wild.
